Year

The Year function extracts the year portion of a date or datetime value and returns it. You should note that the year is the full year and is returned in the format: 2002.

Response.Write "Current Year = " & Year(Now())


Likewise, you can extract other commonly used portions of the date such as Month, Day, Hour, Minute, and Second.
